Our pigs are raised in woodlots and pastures on our farm. Their diet is supplemented with hormone free grains. Try it...you'll be amazed at the flavor!
Pork is sold by the whole or half hog. A whole hog generally weighs between 220-250 lbs. at time of butcher and is sold by the pound of hanging weight (this does not include processing charges). Hanging weight is typically around 70% of the live weight. After processing, you can expect around 65-70% of the hanging weight in meat. We deliver the live hog to the slaughter house of your choice. You are responsible for any processing charges and picking up your meat. If you have any further questions regarding this process, please contact the farm.
Pork availability varies as our products are generally grown to order. All pork orders require a deposit and most often have a 6-8 month lead time.
